ABOUT THE BILLION METRE CHALLENGE
The aim of The Billion Metre Challenge is to encourage people to be more active and get them involved in individual challenges (1000km) so that as a team we work towards covering One Billion Metres! The funds raised from all the challenges will go to charity and we are keen to have other charities on board in the future

Each million metre challenge can be done as individuals or as teams and any sports or activities can count towards your total (Either using time spent or distance). There will be medals on offer for each challenge and overall individual medals when milestones are achieved.

This is an ongoing project and you can join at any time to help us to achieve our target.

Individually the initial challenge is to cover 1 Million Metres either walking, running, rowing, pushing or cycling (1000km) or 100Hrs of Sporting Activity as a contribution to the Billion Metres. This is a totally inclusive challenge and everyone is welcome to join in.
A bespoke 'Million Metre' medal will be provided and sent out to you once you complete the initial Challenge. There will be additional medals for 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 million metres covered. There is a personalised gold memento for each person that completes 20 million metres and undertakes some fundraising.
